Paid Time Off

NEW HIRES – eligible for paid time off beginning after the end of new hire probationary period

Paid Sick Time per employee’s state of residence ordinance. Minimum of 48 hours in a calendar year front loaded each year on January 1.

Paid Vacation Time accrued at a rate of 3.08 hours per pay period up to 80 hours accrued in a calendar year.

HEALTH BENEFITS

CURRENT COVERAGE EFFECTIVE DATE 12/1/2023-11/30/2024

NEW HIRES – insurance will begin on the 1st of the month after date of hire

• If you opted out of a health insurance plan with GMCC last year and would like to join, now is the time.
• Existing subscribers can make changes or switch carriers (contact VK)
• If you opt out or disenroll, you cannot enroll again until open enrollment next year Q4 2024 unless you meet special enrollment requirements (loss of coverage, marriage, divorce, birth, adoption, etc)
• Company does NOT contribute to dependent premium.
• Rates provided are monthly premiums by AGE and with GMCC contribution already factored in.
• COMPANY CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS EMPLOYEE MONTHLY PREMIUM IS 80% ACROSS ALL PLANS.
• Premiums are deducted from paycheck biweekly (every 2 weeks). To get biweekly rate, multiply the monthly premium by 12 and divide by 26.
• Premiums have changed for all existing subscribers. See below for additional details.

• HMO eligible states: CA, CO, GA, HI, OR, WA, VA, MD, D.C
• HMO Vision is included thru Kaiser optometry department
• Chiropractor and acupuncture services are included

• Dental is included through Delta Dental (PPO)
  • To access online account (and access dental insurance card) you can login/sign up thru this LINK. First time users can create an account with SSN.
• PPO plan available to subscribers that reside nationwide.
• PPO subscribers CANNOT seek services at Kaiser Permanente as KP is not an out-of-network provider. Refer to the PPO Handbook and PPO Flyer below.
